Touring worldwide, critically acclaimed sarode maestro Tejendra Narayan Majumdar opens Edmonton Raga-Mala Music Society's season as one of the best-known sarode (lute) players of his generation. A disciple of Ustad Ali Akbar Khan, he is an outstanding exponent of the Senia gharana (school) and
the recipient of many awards and honors for his musical expertise.
